The ruling on letting the hands hang down in prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling on letting the hands hang down in prayer? And is there anything established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding this?

Answer:
Letting the hands hang down is disliked, and folding them is the recommended practice (sunnah). What is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is folding the right hand over the left; he places the right hand over the left on his chest when he is standing in prayer. As for letting them hang down, it is disliked, but it does not invalidate the prayer, nor does it necessify conflict among the brothers. Letting the hands hang down is disliked; one should know and be made aware that letting them hang down is disliked and contrary to the recommended practice (sunnah), and there is no need for conflict, quarreling, or hostility. However, the believer informs his brother, guides his brother, and advises him with gentleness and wisdom. Yes.
