Question:
The last question from our brother says: Tell us about the trial of the Muslim in this world through illness and poverty.
Answer:
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us about this matter. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: And Allah drew attention to this in many verses. He said: : [Al-A'raf: 168] the blessings the calamities meaning: so that they may return to the obedience of Allah, to repentance to Him, to looking at what benefits them, and to other things. He the Exalted said: [Al-Anbiya: 35] And He the Exalted said: [Al-Baqarah: 155] And the verses in this meaning are numerous. He the Exalted made it clear that He tests His servants for wisdoms and secrets. And Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) tests His servants. So whoever is grateful, the outcome becomes praiseworthy, and whoever is ungrateful, the outcome becomes wretched. For this reason He said: meaning: as a test [Al-Anbiya: 35] meaning: as a test and an examination.
So be you a righteous servant. If you are tested, then be patient, persevere, and strive in the obedience of Allah, and fulfill the right that is upon you, so that through this trial you may be successful and granted success. And Allah is the One to be asked for help. Yes.
The presenter : Allah is the One to be sought for help. May Allah reward you with good, and may He reward you.
The last question from our brother says: Tell us about the trial of the Muslim in this world through illness and poverty.
Answer:
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us about this matter. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The most severe people in trial are the prophets, then the righteous, then the most excellent of them, then the most excellent. A person is tested according to the measure of his religion. So if there is firmness in his religion, the trial is intensified for him.
And We tested them with good [times] and bad that perhaps they would return [to obedience].
With good things
And bad things
Perhaps they would return
And We test you with evil and with good as trial
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,
And We test you with evil and with good as trial
So be you a righteous servant.
