Ruling on one who owes a debt to a man who has passed away

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I borrowed a sum of money from my maternal uncle to treat my father, and I was unable to repay the amount afterward. Now, however, Allah has expanded my provision, and my maternal uncle passed away some time ago. What should I do? How do I repay it? Do I pay the money I owe to my uncle's heirs, or how should I proceed? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
Yes, it is obligatory for you to pay what is in your trust to your uncle's heirs, and you must inform them of it. If they have a responsible person or an agent, you give it to the agent, or to the court so that it may be distributed among them. If they are few in number and you are able to distribute it among them yourself, that is sufficient.

The intended meaning : It is to be delivered to the heirs, either by themselves, or through their agent, or through the court.
