If one prays alone behind a broken row, does he fall under the hadith (There is no prayer for one who stands alone behind the row)?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, please go ahead.

The questioner : A questioner says: If one stands alone behind a broken row, does he fall under the prohibition in the hadith:
The prayer of a person who prays alone behind the row is not accepted. لا صلاةَ لمنفردٍ خلفَ الصَّفِّ
Bulugh al-Maram 2:327
?

The Shaykh : There is no doubt that if the question is absolute in this way, it is self-evident that the answer is also absolute: that this is not permissible, and that it falls under the generality of the hadith. But in my opinion, the questioner does not intend this absoluteness, or he should not have intended this absoluteness, because it is a question about a very clear matter if he knows that the Messenger (peace be upon him) said:
Do not form rows لا تصفوا
So how can it be that if he stands in a row, he is not in violation?!

The questioner : Excuse me, excuse me, Shaykh, he qualified the question here by saying.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Behind the broken row.

The Shaykh : Ah, excuse me, I did not notice, and you did well, may Allah reward you with good.

The questioner : And beware of that.

The Shaykh : So I hope you will repeat the question.

The questioner : He says: If one stands behind the broken row.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Alone, does he fall under the prohibition in the hadith?

The Shaykh : Behind the broken row?!

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : Alone?

The questioner : It seems he saw a row.

The Shaykh : I understood.

The questioner : That is not complete, meaning.

The Shaykh : I understand now.

The questioner : Yes, yes.

The Shaykh : This is common among the people in many mosques, for example, the pulpit breaks the row.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : So some people stand behind the imam, and their prayer, in our view, has nothing wrong with it, and some people stand behind the pulpit. Now, the question depicts the questioner as having stood alone in this row, is that not so?

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : We say this is worse than the one who stood in the connected row, or the one that should be connected, if he stood alone in it, because standing of a group in this row is prohibited, because it is broken. So how is it that he stands in it and does not connect to the row behind him, or at least the row behind the imam? Therefore, in my belief, he falls under this hadith a fortiori, and I believe that one who intentionally does this is a deceiver, yes.

The questioner: My Shaykh.

The Shaykh: Go ahead.

The questioner : If you allow me, meaning as you say, so that I understand what you are saying.

The Shaykh: Go ahead.

The questioner : He means, in what the professor presented, that there is a broken row behind the imam.

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : Meaning, behind the imam in a broken row, I stand alone behind this broken one, and I do not complete the row.

Another questioner : Complete the row, yes?!

The Shaykh : No, the question did not mention two broken rows.

The questioner : This is the one who...

The Shaykh : Are there two broken rows in the question?

The questioner : No, there are not.

Another questioner : ... ، .

The questioner : There are not two rows.

The Shaykh : Let me allow you a moment.

The questioner : There are not two rows, there are not two rows.

The Shaykh : What is there?

The questioner : He did not say two rows, no.

The Shaykh : Well, now you have an answer for every question, it is not important, you are now depicting two broken rows, correct?

The questioner : No, one row, I am depicting one row.

The Shaykh : So?

The questioner : I came to the imam, and as soon as I arrived, I found that the row in front of me, I found that standing in it was broken, so I left it and formed a new row alone behind the imam.

The Shaykh: All right.

The questioner : I understood from his question this question, so if he was, I was not going to benefit from it.

The Shaykh : We will take your answer, okay, we are now asking about the picture you are imagining, this is what was in front of him as you say, a broken row, then he stood alone in a broken row as well, correct?

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : What was obligatory for him?

The questioner : This is the question we want.

The Shaykh : Excuse me, or no, I am correcting my question, I may have made a mistake, what was he able to do?

The questioner : He has no choice but either to connect to the broken row and stand in it, or to stand alone.

The Shaykh : Yes, but if he stands alone, it is possible that if people come and stand to his right and left, the row will connect?

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : This is what was obligatory for him.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : And you...

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : Oh, Subhanak Allah wa bihamdika.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : I bear witness that there is no god but You.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : ... authentic, so you know that there are two principles or two principles of usul al-fiqh and usul al-hadith.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : So if you speak about usul al-fiqh, you include usul al-hadith with it, the answer.
