Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
We conclude this session with a question from the questioner, Yusuf Hasan, who asks: Is it permissible for one who missed the Zuhr prayer to pray it with the congregation along with those who are praying 'Asr?
Answer:
If the congregation is traveling and they are praying it in the time of Zuhr, he prays with them. Otherwise, he must pray it in the time of Zuhr; he does not delay it. If he missed Zuhr with the congregation, he prays it in the mosque or in his home immediately. If he finds a congregation praying, he prays with them, whether they are residents or travelers. He prays with them, and when they complete the prayer, he stands up and completes his prayer. As for delaying it until 'Asr, no, it is not permissible to delay it.
The presenter : May Allah reward you, O Shaykh, and may Allah bless you and your knowledge, and benefit the Muslims through you.
