Is stubbornness and anger during discussion from Satan?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner Abu Haytham says in this question: I am a committed young man, and I have brothers in Allah with whom we all gather and discuss matters of the Shari'ah. During our discussion of a specific topic, I get very angry and become extremely stubborn about my opinion, and I am very biased toward my view. This causes my brothers in Allah to be repelled by me. Is this from Satan?

Answer:
There is no doubt that this is from Satan. Stubbornness about an opinion, bad character, and shouting when speaking are undoubtedly from Satan’s embellishment and from bad manners. It is obligatory for the believer to state his opinion with gentleness, wisdom, and humility, and not to be stubborn. Rather, he should strive to present the evidence and clarify the proof.
Likewise, his companions should each strive to clarify the evidence from the Qur'an and the Sunnah, and from the recognized principles, with gentleness, forbearance, and pleasant speech. This is what is obligatory. As for anger and bad character, this is from Satan, and it is a wrong that is not permissible. Rather, it is obligatory to abandon it. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
