Guidance for one who intends to go to a distant mosque for tarawih and misses the 'Isha' prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner: May the Shaykh be respected! This questioner, Abdulaziz from Riyadh, says: Many people, may Allah guide them, go to mosques far from their homes during Ramadan to perform the tarawih prayer, seeking the good voice of some of the imams. But the problem, Your Eminence, is that they go very late, so we see that they miss the 'Isha' prayer, and they make up the congregation at the back of the mosque. Do you have a word for these people, Your Eminence?

Answer:
Yes, my advice to everyone is to fear Allah and to be diligent in performing the obligatory prayer. If one goes after the obligatory prayer, or goes early enough to catch the obligatory prayer with another person whose voice he finds better, and who he feels makes him humble in his recitation and from whom he benefits, then there is no harm, even if it is far from his home. However, he must be diligent in performing the obligatory prayer so that he does not miss it. Either he prays it in the nearby mosques, or he goes early so that he prays the obligatory prayer with that imam. He should not expose himself to missing the obligatory prayer, because the obligatory prayer is a fard (obligatory) upon him, and tarawih is a mustahabb (recommended), so he should not lose the obligatory for the sake of the recommended.
He must pay attention to the obligatory prayer so that he performs it with his Muslim brothers. If he loves to pray with another person, let him go early, before 'Isha', so that he catches the obligatory prayer with him, or after 'Isha' if he has already prayed the obligatory prayer, and there is no harm. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
