Is it sufficient for one who fasts the expiation for an oath to do so on non-consecutive days?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The last question is from our sister, who says: I fasted six days as expiation for two oaths, but the fasting was not consecutive. Should I repeat what I fasted? Or was what I did done in the correct manner?

Answer:
It is sufficient, if Allah wills, but consecutive fasting is better; because some of the Companions issued a ruling requiring consecutiveness, and he read in His saying (Exalted and Majestic is He):
a fast of three daysفَصِيَامُ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ
[Al-Ma'idah: 89], reading it as "consecutive," and he was Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him). It should be fasted consecutively, and one who fasts it on separate days, we hope it will suffice for him, but he has left the most cautious course. If you make it up consecutively out of caution, there is no harm.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
