The ruling on adding a prostration to the prayer for the purpose of supplicating in it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
We then move on to Jordan, and the questioner: (A. A. M.) says in this question: I see my sister, when she wants to supplicate after the tashahhud in the prayer, and before the taslim, prostrates and supplicates with whatever she wishes. Is her action valid? Your Eminence, the Shaykh.

Answer:
This is a reprehensible religious innovation. It is not permissible to add a prostration except for forgetfulness. As for prostrating for supplication other than the two prostrations, this is invalid. This is reprehensible. If she does this intentionally, the prayer is invalid. However, if she is ignorant, she should be taught so that she does not return to this matter. If she does it intentionally while knowing the ruling, it constitutes an addition to the prayer, and thus the prayer is invalid, just as one who intentionally adds a rak'ah, or intentionally adds a bowing while knowing the ruling, invalidates the prayer.
However, if she is ignorant, she should be taught so that she does not return to this matter, or if she was in a state of forgetfulness, she must perform the prostration for forgetfulness. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
