The ruling on traveling and being separated from one's wife for a long period

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner, Adel Khafaji, we discussed a question of his in a previous episode, and this question remains for him. He says: What is the ruling on a man who travels away from his wife for fifteen months to seek a livelihood?

Answer:
If he is compelled to do so, there is no blame on him. If he is compelled to do so, there is no blame on him.
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[Al-Taghabun:16] But if it is easy for him to come to her after two, three, four, or six months, depending on what is feasible, that is more cautious and better for his benefit and hers, for the chastity of his private parts and the chastity of her private parts. He comes to her, then returns, then comes again, then returns. This is the most cautious course if it is feasible. Or he brings her with him if it is feasible. But if he is compelled to do so because of the severity of his need for a livelihood, and it is not feasible to bring her with him or to return to her before the mentioned period, then there is no blame, praise be to Allah.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, O Shaykh.
