Is traveling a distance of ninety kilometers considered travel?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
We conclude this session with a question from the questioner: (F. M. 'A). He says: We have a rest stop located about ninety kilometers from Riyadh, and we go there every weekend. Do the rulings of travel apply to us when we go there? Please advise us, may Allah reward you.

Answer:
Yes, the rulings of travel apply to you if you go there and stay for a day or two; you are travelers, and the distance is long—ninety kilometers is a long distance.

The presenter: Every week, Your Eminence?

The Shaykh: Yes?

The presenter: Every week?

The Shaykh: No, if it is less than that—if the stay is four days or less, they are travelers. But if they intend to stay for more than four days, they are residents according to the majority opinion, and they pray four rak'ahs. However, if the stay is four days or less, or if they go on Thursday and Friday and then return, they are travelers. And if they pray four rak'ahs, there is no blame on them, provided the distance is eighty kilometers or more, a day and a night—meaning—for a mount. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
