The ruling on one who kills a person in self-defense

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner Abu 'Abd from Riyadh: We reviewed a question of his in a previous episode, and in his question he says: For example, a person kills another person with the intention of defending himself, is there anything wrong with that?

Answer:
If the killer was defending himself, and the one who was killed had wronged him and intended to kill him, or to strike him, and he did not stop defending himself until he killed him, then he owes nothing; because he is defending himself while being wronged. However, he should repel the aggressor with the easiest means first, and if that is not possible, he should repel the aggressor by killing him if that is the only way. And praise be to Allah. We ask Allah for well-being. Yes.

The presenter: O Allah, amen.
