The ruling on performing wudu' naked after bathing

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our brother asks and says: Is it permissible for a person to perform wudu' inside the bathroom while bathing, before he puts on his clothes?

Answer:
We do not know of any harm in that, if he takes a ghusl for janabah or for Friday. We do not know... But the sunnah and what is better is to begin with wudu' in the ghusl for janabah. He performs wudu', then he takes the ghusl for janabah, and the first wudu' is sufficient for him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform wudu' first, meaning: he would clean himself and wash what had affected his private parts and the area around them, then he would perform the wudu' for prayer, and then he would take the ghusl. So when he finished the ghusl, he was finished with everything, and he did not need to perform wudu' after that, unless he did something that breaks wudu', such as touching his private parts, or passing wind. In that case, he would repeat the wudu'. But if he took the ghusl and did not touch his private parts and did not do anything that breaks wudu', then his first wudu' is sufficient.
As for the ghusl for Friday, if he wishes, he performs wudu' before it, and if he wishes, he performs wudu' after it. The ghusl alone is not sufficient; it is necessary to perform wudu', either before it or after it. And if he performs wudu' before it and after it while he is naked, there is no harm in that, because he undressed to take the ghusl. So if he performs wudu' before the ghusl or after the ghusl while he has not put on his clothes, whether in the ghusl for janabah or in the ghusl for Friday or something similar, there is no harm, if Allah wills. Yes, and there is no harm, and there is no harm, if Allah wills. Yes.
