What is the meaning of: {Taa-Haa * We have not sent down the Qur'an to you so that you would be distressed}?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan. Allah the Exalted said:
Taa-Haaطه ۝
We have not sent down the Qur'an to you so that you would be distressed except as a reminder for whoever fears [Taa-Haa:1-3]. What is the meaning of these verses? May Allah reward you with good, and the question is from our brother Abdullah Muhammad Ali Atash.

Answer:
It is to be understood by its apparent meaning.
Ta-Haطه
[Taa-Haa:1] This is one of the disjointed letters, like
Alif Lam Mimالم
[al-Baqarah:1] and like
Ha-Mim.حم ۝
'Ayn, Seen, Qaf [al-Shura:1-2] and like:
Sص
[Sad:1] and
Qق
[Qaf:1]. These are disjointed letters. The majority of the scholars say regarding them: Allah knows their meanings best , and Allah made them openings for many of the surahs, to indicate that the Qur'an is composed of these letters that people know.
As for His saying:
We have not sent down to you the Qur'an that you be distressedمَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْقُرْآنَ لِتَشْقَى ۝
[Taha 20:2]
except as a reminder for whoever fears [Taa-Haa:2-3], this is clear. Allah did not send down the Qur'an for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) to be distressed and weary, but He sent it down as a reminder, for the sake of remembrance, action, and benefit. Allah sent down His great Book as a reminder for the believers and for His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); so that they may act upon it and be upright upon it. In it is comfort and tranquility, and in it is happiness in this world and the Hereafter. It does not contain distress, but rather it contains comfort and tranquility, and in it is drawing near to Allah, and finding joy in His supplication and remembrance . It was not sent down for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) or the servant to be distressed by it. No, rather it was sent down so that he may find rest in it, enjoy it, benefit from it, and act upon it, and so that he may attain Paradise and happiness through his action upon it and his uprightness upon it. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
