Ruling on washing impure clothes together with pure clothes

Question:
The questioner from the Holy City of Madinah (M. T. 'A) says in this question: Is it permissible to place clothes that have impurity on them together with other clothes that do not have impurity, and wash them all together?

Answer:
If the washing achieves the desired result, there is nothing wrong with it. If the washing achieves the desired cleaning of all the clothes, there is nothing wrong with it; because it purifies these and those, it removes the impurity and cleans the pure ones. The washing removes the impurity in them along with the cleaning, so that does not harm if it is a washing that results in the removal of the impurity. That is, you wring the garment, then wash it, then wring it again until it is most likely that the impurity has been removed, and there is nothing wrong with that. And if you wash these alone and those alone, that is better and safer. Washing the impure ones alone and the pure ones alone is safer.
But if you wash them all together and do what is required regarding the likelihood that the trace of the impurity has been removed, that is sufficient, and praise be to Allah.
