Ruling on washing pure clothes together with clothes that contain impurity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: If pure clothes and clothes containing impurity are washed together, does that affect the purity of the clothes, and does the water become impure because of it?

A: If the mixed clothes are washed with a large amount of water that removes the traces of impurity and is not altered by the impurity, then all the clothes become pure by that; based on his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
Verily water is pure and is not defiled by anything.إن الماء طهور لا ينجسه شيء
Sunan Abi Dawud 67Sahih (Al-Albani)
It was narrated by Imam Ahmad, Abu Dawud, al-Nasa'i, and al-Tirmidhi with a sound chain of narration.
It is obligatory for the one who undertakes this to be careful and strive to use sufficient water to purify and clean all of them.
And if the impure clothes are distinguished from the pure clothes, the most cautious course is to wash the impure clothes alone with enough water to remove the effect of the impurity, while the water remains pure and is not altered by the impurity.
And success is from Allah.
