Advice for the one who is overcome by sleep while memorizing the Qur'an

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner (H. A. A) says: He mentions that he is a young employee at one of the companies and he memorizes much from the Book of Allah, praise be to Allah. He says: All that remains for me is one part (juz'), and I was memorizing about half a page a day. My problem now is: when I start memorizing or reviewing, sleep comes over me and I cannot control myself from sleeping. I have been on Surat al-Saffat for more than two months. What is your advice to me, O honorable Shaykh?

Answer:
My advice to you is that you ask your Lord to help you. Be humble to Him, the Exalted and Majestic, asking Allah to help you with its memorization, to protect you from Satan, and to grant you energy and strength. I also advise you to look for the appropriate times. Seek out the appropriate times when you are energetic, after the Fajr prayer, after the 'Isha' prayer, or at any time you find yourself energetic to read in. Do this while seeking refuge in Allah from Satan, because Satan is eager to make people lazy about doing good deeds. He may bring about causes of sleep. Seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan, ask your Lord for help and success, and seek out the appropriate times. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
