The Ruling on a Woman Praying over a Dead Person

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner, who indicated her name as (M. A.) from Ha'il, says: I ask about the ruling on a woman praying over a dead person, O Shaykh?

Answer:
Just like a man; it is prescribed for her to pray over the dead person just like a man. She prays with the people in the mosques, in the prayer hall for the dead, or in the house over... She prays with the people of the house over the dead person. However, she does not follow the funeral procession to the cemetery. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade following the funeral processions for the dead; he forbade women from following the funeral processions and from visiting the graves.
As for praying over the dead person, it is prescribed for everyone, for men and women alike, whether in the mosque, in the prayer hall, or in her house, she prays over him with her family. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
