Ruling on making up Ramadan for one who left fasting for several years

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner sent two questions. In her first question, she states that she is a thirty-three-year-old girl, very, very thin, weighing only forty kilograms. She has been observing the fast of Ramadan for ten years, since she was twenty-three. She was unable to fast in her youth, as she could not stand in those hot days or fast. Now she says: I am consistent in fasting, with supplication for the ability to do so, and I have repented to Allah for what has passed. Do I have to make up what I missed? I am unable to fast for that previous period. Do I have to make it up, or pay an expiation, or is repentance sufficient? O honorable Shaykh.

Answer:
You must make up the fasts. You must make them up according to your ability. You must make them up, even if spread out; consecutiveness is not required. You make them up whenever you are able, until you complete what you missed; because you are accountable. So it is obligatory for you to make up the fasts from the time you reached puberty. Seek help from Allah, and be glad with good news. Yes.
In addition to this, she must feed one poor person for each day. You must feed one poor person for each day, half a sa' for each day, which is collected and given to some of the poor. For each year, fifteen sa' are given to some of the poor. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you.
