Ruling on a woman praying in a garment of silk

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
From Yemen, the questioner Abdulrahman Muhammad says: Your Eminence, is it permissible for a woman to pray in a garment of silk?

Answer:
Silk is permissible for women; gold and silk are permissible for women and forbidden for men. So there is no harm in her praying in a garment of silk if it covers her; there is no blame on her for that. This is because it is permissible for her to wear silk. So if she is wearing covering garments of silk, there is no harm.

The presenter: May Allah reward you.
