The Shaykh’s explanation of what is obligatory upon the Sunni callers to Allah regarding our noble religion and the call to it, and that it is a whole that cannot be divided.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And, glory be to Allah! This image has manifested itself in our reality today, where the Sunni callers, who follow the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), when they call people, they call them to act and to uphold Islam as a whole that cannot be divided, a whole that cannot be divided. It is not permissible to divide it into core and shell, as we hear this expression in this time from many people, and from some of those who claim to be among the callers to Islam. Some of these callers divide Islam into a core and a shell, and they may say: Islam has two parts: the first part is the essential that one should hold onto. The other part is secondary and one should not concern oneself with it. We see that this division, using the two terms mentioned earlier, is a turning away from the remembrance of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He), because the remembrance of Allah is not limited, first of all, to what is obligatory or to what is the core, and then it is not correct to say that what precedes it is the shell or that it is a secondary matter.
