How to Shroud the Deceased

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner, may the Shaykh be respected, asks: Is it permissible to dress the deceased in a shirt, trousers, and a turban, and then wrap him in three white shrouds? Please inform us of this.

Answer:
The best is three shrouds; this is the best. If he is shrouded in a shirt, a lower garment, and a shroud, there is no harm. If he is shrouded in a single shroud, there is no harm. But the best for him is three shrouds; this is the best, as was done with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

The presenter: May Allah send prayers and peace upon him.
