Conditions for a woman sitting with a non-mahram

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
She says: I have a married colleague, and she comes to us with her husband, and we sit together, even though I adhere to the Shari'ah dress. Is there any sin on me for that?

Answer:
There is no blame if you sit with your relatives, some of your neighbors, and your neighbor's husband, and you are covered, wearing the hijab over the face and the rest, for the sake of the hadith and listening to the hadith; so there is nothing wrong with that. But he must not be alone with you; do not sit with him alone, not with a neighbor, and not with a non-neighbor.
As for if they are a group; you sit with them; they sit drinking coffee with you, talking with you; there is no blame in that. What is forbidden is seclusion, or uncovering. But if the hijab is present, and the covering is present, and there is no seclusion; there is no blame in listening to the voice, and speech, and greeting, and salam, and the like of that, without handshaking. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good, O Shaykh! Some people consider that covering everything except the face and hands is a Shari'ah hijab. What is your guidance to them?

The Shaykh: It is necessary, as mentioned before, that it not be a hijab except with the face and hands. Perfection is required: covering the head, the hands, and the feet, everything. The woman must be covered except for the eyes. So there is nothing wrong with wearing the niqab that has an opening for the eye, or the two eyes. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
