A Woman Sitting with Non-Mahram Men

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
This questioner from Sudan says: If I am modest in my Islamic attire at home and do not remove the head covering from my head, is it permissible for me to sit with my cousins (maternal and paternal) and the like, if we are all males and females sitting in one place?
Answer: There is no harm in sitting with one’s paternal or maternal cousins, or with the neighbors, provided there is modesty, covering, and hijab, including the face. The face is an awrah (part of the body that must be covered) according to the correct opinion, and it is obligatory to cover it. The head is even more so; it is obligatory to cover it. So, if she sits with her relatives from her maternal or paternal cousins, or with neighbors, in good religious gatherings and gatherings that contain no harm, with covering and hijab, and without displaying any part of herself, whether the face or otherwise, there is no blame on her. However, covering the head is not sufficient; rather, it is necessary to cover the face as well. A woman should be modest and stay away from the causes of fitnah (trial, discord or temptation), whether with her maternal cousins, her paternal cousins, or with others. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you.
