Ruling on Pictorial Toys for Children

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This is a caller to the program. In truth, your sister in Allah, Umm Sarah, says in this message: Please inform us, O honorable Shaykh, about placing plastic toys with young children, such as rabbits, and is placing them forbidden? And what about some of the images found on some of the toys?

Answer:
Leaving them is safer. Leaving images for children is safer and more preferable. Some scholars permit them for young boys and young girls, but leaving them is safer. If it is easy for the children to play with something else that has no image, that is safer and better. Otherwise, the matter is broad in this regard; because it is established from A'ishah that she had toys with which they played during the life of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He married her when she was young, when she was nine years old (may Allah be pleased with her), and she had toys, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) left them as they were. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you.
