Question:
When I read Surat al-Fatihah, al-Ikhlas, al-Kafirun, al-Fath, al-Nasr, and al-Kawthar, and some verses that are supplications for the believers, such as:
[Who say], "Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.رَبَّنَا لا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
[Al-Imran: 8] and other verses, or when reading the surahs or verses that begin with "Say" (Qul), in addition to the verses that speak about the Hour and its terrors, or Paradise and its bliss, I feel a disturbance within me, and I feel that my heartbeats become intense. What does this mean?

Answer:
These are signs of good, so praise Allah for that, and ask Him for success and steadfastness upon the truth; because a person's feeling regarding the greatness of the position concerning the names and attributes of Allah, and what concerns the news of Paradise, Hellfire, and the Resurrection, his feeling of this great station, and his feeling of the greatness of Allah, all of this is from the signs of success, from the strength of faith, and the perfection of faith, so praise Allah for that, and ask Him for steadfastness upon the truth, and assistance in all good, yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
