The wisdom behind a menstruating woman making up the Zuhr prayer if she becomes pure before Maghrib

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Yes, Your Eminence, the sister asks: What is the secret behind the fact that a menstruating woman makes up the Zuhr prayer if she becomes pure before Maghrib, even though its time has passed?

Answer:
Because the time for 'Asr continues until the sun sets. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever catches one rak'ah of 'Asr before the sun sets has caught 'Asr, and whoever catches one rak'ah of Fajr before the sun rises has caught Fajrمن أدرك ركعةً من العصر قبل أن تغرب الشمس فقد أدرك العصر، ومن أدرك ركعة من الصبح قبل أن تطلع الشمس فقد أدرك الصبح
So if she becomes pure at the end of the day, some of the Companions issued a ruling that she should pray Zuhr and 'Asr together; because she caught part of the time, she is like the sick person, who prays Zuhr and 'Asr together, if her purity comes before 'Asr, before the sun sets by one rak'ah or more. And likewise, if she becomes pure a little before the sun sets, by one rak'ah, she prays Fajr. If she becomes pure before the dawn breaks at the end of the night, she prays Maghrib and 'Isha'. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you, O Shaykh.
