The questioner : Clarifying the meaning of purification and education?

The Shaykh : Now I will explain to you. Take it on the left. Purification: It is a concise term meaning that the scholars of the Muslims in every land of Islam must perform the obligatory duty of purifying Islam from what is alien to it, purifying the beliefs from the deviations that have entered them...

The questioner : My master, peace be upon you. May Allah accept, my master.

The Shaykh : In the name of following a school of jurisprudence, and upon you be peace, the mercy of Allah, and His blessings.

The questioner : Our noble master, in three or four human situations, from your brother, the Shaykh Adnan.

The Shaykh : Purifying the creed is the first thing. Then, if it comes to pass, purifying the jurisprudence from the opinion-based rulings that have entered it which contradict the Prophetic Sunnah. Clear? Did you understand? This is purifying the Sunnah from weak and fabricated hadiths. In summary: Everything that has entered into Islam, Islam must be restored to its original purity. Because this purified Islam, as Allah revealed it to the heart of Muhammad (peace be upon him), is what sound innate dispositions accept. As for what has entered into it: This foreign element in Islam is most like a medicine or drug issued by a specialized, skilled, and Muslim doctor, and then strange things not belonging to it were added to this medicine. Does this medicine yield its result? The answer is: No. Likewise, and to Allah belongs the highest example: Islam is: as in the Noble Qur'an. Therefore, for it to yield the first fruit that Islam bore in the Companions of the Messenger (peace be upon him), who lived in the pre-Islamic age of ignorance, Islam must return to its original purity. So purifying Islam is a very necessary matter so that people will accept it. The other word is education, meaning: It is not enough that we understand Islam correctly and then not act upon it. Rather, we must educate ourselves, our relatives, and our families upon it. At that time, the believers will rejoice in the victory of Allah. Perhaps the intended meaning has become clear to you?
