What is the ruling on prostrating on a turban or a cap?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling on prostrating on a turban or a cap?

Answer:
There is no blame in doing so, but leaving it is better. One should prostrate on the prayer mat, removing the turban and the cap and prostrating on the mat; this is the best. If one prostrates on the turban or the cap or something else, the prostration is valid, but it is better to remove the turban and the cap so that one directly touches the prayer mat, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do.
