Ruling on prostrating on the turban

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This is a questioner for the program *Nur al-Din* who has a set of questions. He says in the first question: What is the ruling on prostrating on the turban? And is it permissible to prostrate on it?

Answer:
It is better to prostrate on the prayer mat; this is the better option. One should prostrate on the prayer mat, not on the turban, but rather on the prayer mat, whether the mat is a carpet, a rug, pebbles, or sand. One should prostrate on the mat with the people. So if one prostrates on the edges of the turban, it does no harm. If one places his forehead on the edges of the turban, or the ghutrah, or a bisht, or something else, it does no harm. But it is better to prostrate on the mat that people pray on, or on one’s own mat that he prays on in his house, touching the mat directly with his forehead and nose.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
