What is the ruling on one who dies before completing the rites of his Hajj?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
An elderly woman performed Hajj this year, and while returning from 'Arafah to Muzdalifah, she fell ill and was admitted to the hospital that same night. She remained in the hospital until Allah took her soul, and she had only performed the standing at 'Arafah and spent part of the night in Muzdalifah of the Hajj rites. Is it obligatory for her heirs to do anything, such as completing her Hajj for her?

Answer:
Nothing is obligatory for them; because when the man whose mount overtook him at 'Arafah died, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Wash him with water and Sidr, and shroud him in his garmentsاغسلوه بماءٍ وسدرٍ، وكفِّنوه في ثوبيه
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 951Sahih (Darussalam)
, and he did not order the completion of what he missed.
The point is that nothing is obligatory for the heirs of this woman; they do not perform the circumambulation on her behalf, nor do they stone the pillars on her behalf. She will be raised on the Day of Resurrection in the state of talbiyah; because the Messenger said regarding the one whose mount overtook him:
Ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) reported that there was a person in the state of Ihram whose camel broke his neck and he died. Thereupon the Mes- senger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Bathe him with water mixed (with the leaves of) lote tree and shroud him In his two (pieces of) cloth and cover neither his head nor his face, for he would be raised on the Day of Resurrection pronouncing Talbiya.اغسلوه وكفِّنوه في ثوبيه، ولا تُخمِّروا رأسه ولا وجهه، فإنه يُبعث يوم القيامة مُلبيًا
Sahih Muslim 1206f
, which indicates that he remains in his state of ihram.
