Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
In the hadith of Mu'adh: What is meant by his saying at the end of the hadith:
shall be upon podiums of lightلهم منابر من نور
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2390Sahih (Darussalam)
?

Answer:
It is to be taken at its apparent meaning, on the Day of Resurrection, meaning: in Paradise.
Q:
The prophets will envy themيغبطهم النَّبيُّون
?
A: It means: in Paradise. This is a great favor, if it is authentic. Al-Tirmidhi narrated it, and its chain of narration requires examination, but the hadith narrated by al-Bukhari in "Sahih" is sufficient for it. Allah, Glorified and Exalted, says:
Where are those who have mutual love for My Glory's sake? Today I shall shelter them in My shadow when there is no other shadow but the shadow of Mine.أين المتحابُّون في جلالي؟ اليوم أُظلُّهم في ظلِّي، يوم لا ظلَّ إلا ظلِّي
Sahih Muslim 2566
.
Q: He says:
The prophets will envy themيغبطهم النَّبيون
and the prophets are higher than them?!
A: There is no objection to their envying them, even though the prophets are higher than them. It is possible for you to envy the one who is upright, even if you are better than him. You envy the upright one for his truth and his steadfastness upon the truth. They envy them for the good that Allah has given them.
The Shaykh: What did the commentator say about it?
The student: He said: Al-Tirmidhi narrated it and its chain is strong?
A: Perhaps so. In any case, as long as there is no harm, the prophets envy them, even though the prophets are better than them. You envy the one who is upright in prayer and maintains it in congregation, even if you are better than him.
Q: Is the love specific to men, or does it encompass everyone?
A: It is general; it encompasses men and women.
