Is it better for the sick person to seek treatment or to be patient?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Regarding physical illnesses, is it better to be patient or to proceed to treatment?

Answer:
No, treatment is the best, just as the Companions sought treatment and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sought treatment. So treatment is more appropriate; because treatment helps in obeying Allah and in removing the affliction. So treatment is recommended and among the permissible matters and among the recommended matters. And among that is ruqyah (healing by Qur'anic recitation); the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ruqyah and ruqyah was performed on him.
Q: May Allah reward you. Regarding repeating the treatment on the same patient from one person to another of the reciters, is that required?
A: There is no harm, and praise be to Allah
O servants of Allah, seek treatment, but do not seek treatment with what is forbidden. Allah has not sent down a disease except that He has sent down for it a cure, which some know and some do not know.عباد الله تَدَاوَوْا ولا تداووا بحرام، ما أنزل الله داء إلا أنزل له شفاء، عَلِمه من علمه وجَهِلَه مَن جهله
.
Q: I mean, for example, may Allah reward you for your work, is it repeated on one person or repeated on several people?
A: He does what he sees as beneficial, and he strives; perhaps Allah will benefit through the means, from one doctor to another, according to what is facilitated.
