What is prescribed for the Muslim in states of anger?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is there any guidance from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for one who is overcome by anger to remain silent?

Answer:
I do not recall a specific text, but in any case, it is one of the means of well-being: that he remains silent and moves from one place to another, leaving the gathering. Wudu is also a means, for anger is a spark from the Fire.
Q: Or if he is standing, should he sit down?
A: The one who is standing should sit down, yes; he changes his state.
Q: May Allah reward you. Why did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) not inform him himself of this phrase, which is "I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan"?
A: The Companions convey his message; most of the Sunnah is conveyed by them.
Q: So, he was present at this incident, but he did not resolve the dispute?
A: He said:
I know a phrase...إني لأعلم كلمة..
; so that everyone may benefit, and they conveyed it to him.
