Does one who is obligated to provide for an orphan receive the reward for taking care of him?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
An orphan—whether a son or a daughter—does he receive the reward for taking care of him if he is obligated to provide for him?

Answer:
An orphan is one who has no father. This is the orphan: a young person who has lost his father. So orphanhood has two conditions: that he has lost his father, and that he is below the age of puberty. This is what is called an orphan. He should be treated kindly if he is poor. If he is not poor, then he is not in need of people, and he is only in need of proper Islamic upbringing.
