Question:
Regarding sending forth the host of the Fire?
Answer:
The host of the Fire: nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand. Allah commands Adam to send forth the host of the Fire from Ya'juj and Ma'juj and from other than Ya'juj. From Ya'juj, there are ninety-nine, and from these, one from the rest of the people, just as Allah the Exalted said: [Yusuf:103], [Al-An'am:116]. Most of creation is upon falsehood, and Ya'juj and Ma'juj are all evil. We ask Allah for safety.
Q: Does this indicate that the people of the Fire are more numerous than the people of Paradise?
The Shaykh: Yes, there is no doubt. We ask Allah for safety.
