A: If they are Muslims, they are martyrs if they are struck by missiles or anything else that kills them; their ruling is the ruling of the martyrs. This applies to every Muslim who is killed wrongfully in any place; based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):

Narrated Zaid: that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: "Whoever is killed over his wealth then he is a martyr, and whoever is killed over his religion, then he is a martyr, and whoever is killed over his blood, then he is martyr, and whoever is killed over his family, then he is martyr."

Fight him

قاتله

The man said: O Messenger of Allah, what if he kills me? He said:

Then you are a martyr

فأنت شهيد

The man said: What if I kill him? He said (peace and blessings be upon him):
