Ruling on leaving the fasting of several Ramadans

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner: He says: In the past, I left many months of Ramadan that I did not fast intentionally, which is approximately six years, meaning: six Ramadans. And at the same time, I did not fall short in my prayer. Now, I am unable to fast all of them, and I am also unable to make expiation, but I am able to fast them in parts, even if it is one day a week, and I cannot do more than that. Please advise us, may Allah reward you?
The Shaykh: It is obligatory upon you, my brother! To repent to Allah, sincere repentance that includes regret for the past and sorrow for what has passed from you, and a sincere resolve not to return to that. And you must make up the fasts according to your ability, even if it is one day a week, making them up until you complete them, if Allah wills, those six years, as long as you were praying, and praise be to Allah. So you must complete and make up this fasting according to your ability
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[Surat al-Taghabun:16]. Yes.
And the first one also has to feed people. You must feed on behalf of these years, for every day half a sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg), according to the correct opinion. A group of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) issued a fatwa to this effect. So you must feed a poor person for every day if you are able to do so, half a sa' of the staple food of the country, from dates or rice or other, if you can. But if you are poor, then you owe nothing. Yes.
The presenter: Meaning: along with making up the fasts?
The Shaykh: Along with making up the fasts, along with the fasting.
The presenter: Because several Ramadans have passed over it?
The Shaykh: ... Several Ramadans have passed over it. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you.
