What is the meaning of: “In the end times, a time will come in which wealth will overflow”?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
This is a letter that reached us from Ahmad Abdullah al-Sayyid, who did not provide an address. Brother Ahmad, in truth, he filled this letter with several matters. We always wish that the brothers who ask questions in their letters would be considerate of us and careful not to repeat questions. As for matters related to visions and dreams, it would be best if the program were spared from these; for this is a matter that does not offer much benefit, in truth. The honorable scholars are eager to answer what is legally ambiguous, what is permissible and what is not, and what benefits people. As for what concerns visions and dreams, this is not a matter of great importance. The asking brother included a long story in his letter about a blessing his mother claims for him, so we ask to be spared from such things. However, in his letter there is a question that is fine to present. He asks the Shaykh about the charity before the return that was mentioned in a hadith explained by al-Qastallani in his commentary on al-Bukhari. He says: “The urging to hasten in giving charity, fearing that the treasures of the earth will appear and wealth will become abundant.” He asks about this hadith and what is intended by it?
Answer: The meaning is that the believer should hasten with charity before a time comes upon him in which charity is not accepted due to the abundance of wealth, its appearance among people, and its overflow among people. For the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed:
In the end times, a time will come in which wealth will overflow until no one accepts it, until a man goes with his charity of gold or silver and does not find anyone to accept it.يأتي في آخر الزمان زمان يفيض فيه المال حتى لا يقبله أحد، حتى إن الرجل ليذهب بصدقته من الذهب أو الفضة لا يجد من يقبلها
.
The intention of this urging to hasten with charity is as long as there are poor people, as long as there are poor people who accept it, before a time comes upon you in which you do not find a poor person to accept it. The believer should hasten with charity if Allah expands his provision, as long as the poor exist.
The presenter: May Allah bless you, and may Allah reward you with good.
