The Text of the Verse of the Throne

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
This is a message from the listener Saud Mish'al 'Abd al-Hadi al-'Utaybi in al-Mahani via Ta'if. He sent this message saying: I ask your Eminence to clarify the Verse of the Throne, as some people say that it ends with:
and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
[al-Baqarah:255] Truthful is Allah the Great, while others say it includes an addition:
There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion
[al-Baqarah:256] and so on. Please inform us of the correct view, may Allah reward you.
Answer: The Verse of the Throne ends with the words of the Exalted and Majestic is He:
and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
[al-Baqarah:255]. This is the Verse of the Throne:
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
[al-Baqarah:255]. This is the Verse of the Throne. As for:
There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion
[al-Baqarah:256], that is another verse. This great verse is the best and greatest verse in the Book of Allah . It is prescribed for the believing man and woman to recite it after every prayer, after the dhikr. This great verse is prescribed when one goes to bed at night to sleep; he says it. It is a great verse, the best verse in the Book of Allah, and it ends with the words of the Glorified and Exalted is He:
and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
[al-Baqarah:255]. This is its end, according to the scholars. Yes.
