The ruling on leading people in prayer while one's father is present

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Is it permissible for me to lead people in prayer while my father is present?
Answer: Yes, if you are the one reciting, you lead the people in prayer even if your father is present. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The one who is most versed in Allah's Book should act as Imam for the people, but If they are equally versed in reciting it, then the one who has most knowledge regarding Sunnah if they are equal regarding the Sunnah, then the earliest one to emigrate; it they emigrated at the same time, then the earliest one to embrace Islam.
Sahih Muslim 673a
— meaning: in terms of Islam, and in the other wording: the one among them who is oldest in age. So if you are more knowledgeable than your father, you lead them. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good and do you good.
