When is the index finger moved during the tashahhud?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
When sitting for the tashahhud, I would like clarification on moving the index finger. Is it at the beginning of the tashahhud, or only after the end of the tashahhud during the supplication?

Answer:
The sunnah is to point with the index finger, keeping the index finger upright from the beginning of sitting in the tahiyat, the first and the last tashahhud.
As for the movement, the sunnah is for it to be during the supplication, at: “O Allah, send blessings upon…”, “O Allah, we seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire”, during the supplication, he moves it slightly during the supplication.
As for it being upright, this is from the time he sits, it is upright as a sign of tawhid (the oneness of Allah), and he joins his thumb with his middle finger, and he holds his ring finger and little finger, or he holds all his fingers, and he points with the index finger; this is a sunnah, but the movement is during the supplication, yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you.
