Is the intercession of a child who dies young for their parents specific to males?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This is our sister, the questioner, your sister in Allah, Umm 'Adil, from al-Madinah al-Munawwarah. She says: Is the intercession of young children for their parents, whether they are male or female, or is the intercession specific to male children only?

Answer:
Intercession encompasses everyone, males and females, and praise be to Allah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever has three children taken from him before they reach the age of sin, they will be a shield for him from the Fire.من مات له ثلاثة أفراط لم يبلغوا الحنث، كن له حجابًا من النار
They said: O Messenger of Allah, or two? He said:
Or two.أو اثنين
And they did not ask him about one. And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever has a close one taken from him in this world, and he is patient and seeks reward from Allah, He will compensate him with Paradise.من مات له صفيه من الدنيا فصبر واحتسب عوضه به الجنة
or as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said.
The meaning is: if a person is afflicted with the loss of a close one from this world, a relative or a friend, and he is patient and seeks reward from Allah, He will compensate him with Paradise. This is the meaning of the hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the other wording:
Whoever has a close one taken from him in this world, and he seeks reward from Allah, He will compensate him with Paradise.من أخذت صفيه من الدنيا فاحتسبه عوضته فيه الجنة
.
Likewise, if children are taken from their father and mother, and they are patient and seek reward from Allah, they will be intercessors for them, whether they are three or more, or two. As for one, they did not ask him about it (peace and blessings be upon him), but he is included in the category of the close one; if he is patient and seeks reward from Allah, he will be compensated with Paradise, even if it is only one. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you, Your Eminence.
