The ruling on praying in a farm for one who is far from the mosque
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This is your brother Abu Mu'adh, who says in this question: that he works in a farm, is married, and has no children with him, and is a distance of two to three kilometers from the mosque. He asks: Is it permissible to pray in the farm?
Knowing that the farm is isolated from the village that has a mosque.
Answer:
There is no harm, if he does not hear the call to prayer... he prays alone, and if he is patient and goes to the mosque, that is a great good and a great virtue. And if he prays alone, there is no harm; because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: So if he hears the call to prayer, if the voices were quiet he would hear the call to prayer without a loudspeaker, it is obligatory for him. But if he is in a distant place where he does not hear the call to prayer, it is not obligatory for him, but he prays alone. And if he endures the hardship and is patient and goes to the mosque, that is a great good and a great virtue.
