Ruling on holding the Friday prayer in a farm far from the mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Following this, a message was received for the program from listener Salama 'Abd al-Khalq. Our brother says: We are ten, and we work on a farm, and we are about four kilometers away from the nearest mosque to us. So one of us ten stood up, attended the Friday sermon, and delivered the sermon to us in the same place of work. Is what we did valid?
May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
If you are residents of the place, there is no harm in holding the Friday prayer; because you are far from the congregational mosques. But if you are not, and you only come to the farm for some repairs, then you do not have the right to pray the Friday prayer there. Rather, you must strive to attend the Friday prayer. If you do not strive, pray the midday prayer in your place; because you are far away. And if you strive and pray with the people, that is better for you. And if you are far away in cars, and praise be to Allah.
The point is: if this place has residents who stay there in winter and summer, then the Friday prayer is held among them, and you pray the Friday prayer with them. But if it is not so, and you are workers who are not residents, and you only visit the place, then you do not have the right to hold the Friday prayer in this place. But you pray the Friday prayer with the people. And if it happens to be Friday and you are there, and you pray the midday prayer, there is no harm, due to the distance. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
