Explanation of the author's statement: "...and purification from hadath..."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He said: "And among them is purification from hadath". Purification from hadath is also a condition for the ritual prayer. The evidence for this is from the Qur'an and the Sunnah. From the Qur'an, Allah the Exalted said:
O you who have believed, when you rise to [perform] prayer, wash your faces يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا قمتم إلى الصلاة فاغسلوا وجوهكم
[Al-Ma'idah 5:6]
up to His saying:
Allah does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you that you may be grateful. ما يريد الله ليجعل عليكم من حرج ولكن يريد ليطهركم وليتم نعمته عليكم لعلكم تشكرون
[Al-Ma'idah 5:6]
. The indication is that Allah commanded ablution for minor ritual impurity, the full ritual bath for major ritual impurity, and dry ablution with clean earth when water is absent. He made clear that the wisdom behind this is purification. Before that, a person is not in a state of ritual purity, and one who is not in a state of ritual purity is not fit to stand before Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Is that clear? As for the Sunnah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Allaah, the Exalted, does not accept the prayer of any of you when you are defiled until you performed ablution. لا يقبل الله صلاة أحدكم إذا أحدث حتى يتوضأ
Sunan Abi Dawud 60Sahih (Al-Albani)
This is an explicit text. And he said:
He does not accept prayer without purification لا صلاة بغير طُهور
Sunan Abi Dawud 59Sahih (Al-Albani)
Yes, this is purification from hadath. As for purification from ritual impurity, it will come, if Allah wills, in the author's discussion as a separate condition.
