Ruling on a woman obtaining ijazah in the Qur'an from a shaykh

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner (A. S. 'A.) from Sudan says, "May the Shaykh be preserved by Allah: Is it permissible for a woman to obtain ijazah from a shaykh in the Noble Qur'an and other sciences, such as being granted permission to recite and memorize the Qur'an, or in other sciences?"

Answer:
There is no harm if a man reads to a student of knowledge and grants him ijazah for what he narrated from him; there is no harm in granting him permission to narrate what he read to him.

The presenter: And this is a woman, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh: If she reads to a woman or to a person of knowledge, and she makes him hear it and grants her ijazah for what she made him hear, provided there is hijab and no seclusion, then there is no harm. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you and bless you, may the Shaykh be respected.
