Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our sister the questioner (E. D. A.) sent three questions. In the first question, she says: Regarding reciting the Qur'an while doing housework, is this permissible for her, O honorable Shaykh?

Answer:
I am not aware of any harm in her working and reciting in the kitchen, or in the rest of the house while attending to her needs; she may recite and work, and there is no blame on her. This is except in the bathroom, the place of impurity; no, the bathroom is a place of impurity. But in clean places, such as the kitchen and the sitting room, there is nothing wrong with her reciting while she works on her needs. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
