Ruling on exiting the state of ihram for 'Umrah by taking some of the hair

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A letter from one of the listening brothers, containing a collection of questions, all of which were about Hajj. In one of his questions, he says: I intended to perform 'Umrah as a mutamatti' to Hajj from the miqat, (Abiyyar 'Ali), and I performed tawaf and sa'y, but I did not shorten all the hair on my head; rather, I took some from various places. Is there a sin on me?

Answer:
This is sufficient, if Allah wills, according to some of the scholars. However, in the future, you should take from the entire head. In the future, you should shorten the entire head, just as you would shave it all. This is what is prescribed. When you have finished tawaf and sa'y, you should shorten the hair from the tips of the hair on the entire head. As for what has already passed, we hope that it is sufficient, if Allah wills, and there is no blood money on you, because a group of scholars consider it sufficient. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
