The Ruling on Prostrating on the Seven Body Parts

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This is a questioner from Riyadh who mentioned this symbol, saying: We know that it is obligatory to prostrate on the seven body parts, but sometimes, O Shaykh, I do not notice or I am not aware that I am not prostrating on all seven body parts completely; because there is an obstacle that I did not remove until after finishing the prostration. So, is there anything required of me regarding that?

Answer:
It is obligatory to prostrate on the seven body parts; the prostration is not valid except with that. So, if the prostration is on a mattress or on a carpet, or on something else; there is no harm, it does not harm. It is not obligatory to touch the ground directly. If one prostrates on a rug, or on a mat, or on a carpet, or on something else; there is no harm.
As for if one raises one of the body parts and prostrates on six, or five; and does not place his hand on the ground, or his hands, or his face, the prostration is not valid. It is necessary that he place his face on the ground, whether there is a carpet on the ground or not, his forehead, his nose, and his two palms on the ground, his feet, his knees; these are the seven. So, if he raises his hand, or his face, and does not prostrate, he is not called one who is prostrating, until he places his face on the ground and his hands on the ground, and his knees on the ground, and his feet on the ground .. on the palms of his fingers. This is the prostration prescribed by the Shari'ah.
So, if he prostrates while raising his hand or his leg, the prostration is not valid. Or if he prostrates in the air while he is able to reach the ground, he is not sick, he is able to prostrate on the ground, and he prostrates but his face does not reach the ground; the prostration is not valid. Yes.

The presenter: Thank you, O Shaykh, and may Allah bless you and your knowledge, and benefit the Muslims through you.
